This volume presents a comprehensive synthesis of research on the Bronze Age cemetery at Domasław 10/11/12 and Chrzanów 4 (Wrocław district), one of the most important funerary complexes of the Urnfield cultural milieu in Central Europe. It brings together the results of long-term archaeological work and interdisciplinary specialist analyses, with particular attention to funerary rites, social structure, and the material aspects of Bronze Age communities. The volume also discusses the chronology, spatial organisation of the necropolis, transformations in burial practices, and the cemetery’s broader regional context.
The publication includes detailed studies of movable and immovable finds, including pottery, metal artefacts, ornaments, tools, and cremated human remains, as well as specialist contributions on faunal remains, bone/antler artefacts, glass beads, metal composition, use-wear, petrography, and organic residue analyses.
